How it all began
I decide to work in the wine industry, still as a student after my first internship at Madeira Wine Company, just after this I received the invitation to represent a Portuguese wine region in the world fair, and my fate was sealed.
Why WSET?
Given the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) is the leading institution in the development of courses and qualifications in wines and spirits, I couldn´t chose a different provider to deepen my knowledge of the wines of the world and use them as a professional tool.
Passion and specialism
I am the Winemaker of a fantastic project in the “Tejo” region, Odewinery Farm & Living, also an invited teacher at the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, Madeira Wine Educator,
Certified Port Educator, member of the Chamber of Tasters of the “Tejo” region, member of the Portuguese Association of Oenology and Jury in several national and international wine competitions. Speaker in Seminars and Presentations.
Why Plansel International Wine School?
To be a teacher for the PIWS is very rewarding, I have always admired teachers a lot especially because I am the daughter of an amazing teacher.
To learn and exchange ideas, transmit knowledge, and share my own experience with people of different backgrounds, experiences and cultures is what I appreciate the most.
