How it all began
I decide to work in the wine industry, still as a student after my first internship at Madeira Wine Company. Just after this period, I received the invitation to represent a Portuguese wine region in the world fair. And with this, my fate was sealed.

Passion and specialism by Maria Vicente
I am the Winemaker of a fantastic project in the “Tejo” region, Odewinery Farm & Living, also an invited teacher at the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, Madeira Next to that I am a Wine Educator, Certified Port Educator, member of the Chamber of Tasters of the “Tejo” region. Member of the Portuguese Association of Oenology and Jury in several national and international wine competitions. Speaker in Seminars and Presentations. With my experience, I am sure that I can teach you about wine as one of the best in industry.
Why Plansel International Wine School?
To be a teacher for the PIWS is very rewarding. I have always admired teachers a lot especially because I am the daughter of an amazing teacher.
