After the course, you will be assessed with an exam of 50 multiple-choice questions and a short written answer paper. The second unit of the exam will consist of blind tasting two wines.

Entry requirements for your WSET Level 3 course
Also for the WSET level 3 it´s recommended that you have accomplished the level prior to level 3, which is level 2. Because of the blind tasting of the wines as part of the exam, you must be of legal drinking age. In Portugal this means that you must be 18 years of age, or older.
Finishing your WSET level 3 in Portugal
You have obtained the full title of WSET Level 3 Award in Wines. Eventually, you can sit around the table with wine makers and discuss how produce influences taste, quality, to name a few. Simultaneously, you are also eligible to continue the highest certification in the world of wines, which is WSET Level 4.
