Our Carcavelos Gold is crafted using time-honored methods, where carefully selected grapes are handpicked at optimal ripeness. The fermentation process is intentionally interrupted by the addition of a high-quality grape spirit, fortifying the wine and preserving its natural sweetness. Subsequently, the wine undergoes an aging process in oak barrels, allowing it to develop its distinctive character and complexity.
